Alberobello
famous for its characteristic houses, called trulli, declared UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996. The districts with the highest concentration of the typical trulli, located in the center of Alberobello, are: the Monti district, purely used for commercial activities, restaurants and bar and the district Aia Piccola, mainly residential.
